Gathania Holmgren is the next big swedish music export! Gathania first charmed the world with her stunning looks and beautiful voice in the Swedish version of the hugely popular talentshow Idol in 2007. Gathania made it to the finals. Gathania's journey set off perfectly, after giving the viewers and the jury a powerful and strong performance of the song Walking On Sunshine (originally by Katrina & The Waves). Gathania was ensured a place in the next final, in which she performed the song "Calleth You, Cometh I" (originally by The Ark). Once more, Gathania gave away an amazing performance and made it one week more. The next week she sang Rihanna's hit song "Umbrella". This time, everything wasn't going as well as earlier... Gathania got critic from the jury and ultimately had to leave the show. But the journey does not end there... After the elimination Gathania was offered a record deal by Lemon Records, Poland's biggest record company! Gathania accepted the offer, and started working on her new album. In 2008, a version of her first UK single "Blame It On You" leaked called "Blackout". The song recieved positive attention. Now, in 2009, Gathania's career has taken off, with her releasing the single "Get It Out" in Scandinavia and Poland. The awaited single "Blame It On You" has already been officially released as a music video and full audio version to YouTube and is going to be released as a single June 15th! But, there's more to give... Her debut album is slated for a summer 2009 release!
