Gary Brown was born, grew up, married his wife and together they raised their children in Detroit. He was with the Detroit Police Department for 26 years and highly-regarded for his service, integrity and leadership. When he retired in 2003, he was a Deputy Police Chief. Brown has been involved in a variety of community and neighborhood organizations, serving in leadership roles. Keep posted to this YouTube channel to find out more about him during the 2009 campaign.
