@mcmanustony absolutely. It says a lot about the creationism movement that their flagship enterprise, the Discovery institute, will make a senior fellow of someone who adopts none of their tenets, simply because he attacks atheism.

If the average person buys all that crap then heaven help us all. Which seems unlikely as God seems to be on a 4.6. billion year long holiday.

I would say this is written by an atheist, intended as a spoof, but also to illicit answers to some residual questions that he finds difficult to reconcile. After billions of years the illusory intelligent that appears to exist in the process of natural selection is, indeed, beguiling.
