I have been playing guitar on and off since I was 18 but only had a cheap classical guitar. I bought an electric guitar in 2008 and started to put more effort into learning. I then discovered http://www.justinguitar.com which has improved my playing. I am the first to admit my playing isn't great as I don't have a huge amount of time to practice. I also play the keyboard as well, but that has been neglected recently. I play purely as a hobby and don't have expectations to be a great player.
Favourite bands are Level 42 and Genesis although I have a varied collection of music including pop, rock, reggae, blues, RnB, prog rock and classical. Recently discovered Joe Bonamassa, who I think is fantastic, but I don't think I will ever be able to play his songs.
