this was a needless loss of life and all because of the democrats. i cant count my friends who never made it home. and any of us that suffered there suffer more here when returning home. this is one hell of a song and ought to be sung before the start of every congressional session.
@Jxtreeme1 you are exactly right. the south treated their slaves more like family because they were the economic backbone of survival on the plantations. there were some horror stories but very few. this is a part of history that is not being taught to our kids now. sad it is our heritage
you are right about her career, however she never pushed to exceed waylon. she was very satisfied to be in the background. however i wish she had done more. very beautiful and unique voice and a beauty beyond compare.
she is great, just wish she had more out there to enjoy. her version of "his eye is on the sparrow: is tops.
