This is normal size for a PROPERLY CARED FOR goldfish. It's funny how you only see tiny goldfish kept in bowls?

Go to any pond and you will find goldfish easily this size.

So stick that up your pipe and smoke it.

I bet you any goldfish kept in a large pond would be bigger than this.

I used to have two goldfish that we won at a fair. Goldie and Fin. They were kept in a 125 gallon tank and passed away 3 years ago, making them 29 years of age. Goldie was 18 inches long when he died and Fin was 13 inches.

Pretty small tank considering goldfish grow well over a foot long and require a 75 gallon tank.

Uhm.... he's not that big or old for a goldfish, they normally live for 20 years and grow beyond 12 inches in proper care, and a 5 year old goldfish should be larger than that.

Goldfish are supposed to grow in excess of 12 inches and live beyond 20 years, but sadly, people simply are too ignorant and narrow-minded to read up and research how to care for them properly, which results ...

@MrChannelisland No, you can't keep even one Piranha in a 6.6 gallon tank.

In fact, the only fish you can keep in that size tank is a single male Betta.

Oh, and a group of Piranhas need a 40 gallon tank.

The tank is too small for goldfish. Goldfish need 20 gallons+ per goldfish. (That's 80 litres each).
