Name: Roland
I'm a guy living in Stockholm.

Like to have one or two, at least 12 year old scotch -not on the rocks because that dilute the taste- before dinner. Invited are: Socrates, Oscar Wilde, Groucho Marx, Ernest Hemingway, Huey Long, Henry David Thoreau and Salma Hayeck. Cocnac and a cuban Hoyo del Monterey in the library and then entertainment by Eddie Cochran and Elvis a la´ 1957. Or Jussi Björling singing "La Donna è Mobile", but then I would only cry.

To dinner we need an asian so pending for approval is Ling Ting Tong but he might be cancelled because sprouting confusing Confucius constantly.

Not invited, although he wanted to come, was Alfred Packer who is the only person in US convicted for cannibalism.

Preferences: Humans and others: Milton Erickson, Fritz Pearls, Virginia Satir -3 extraordinary therapists. Paul McKenna who use NLP modeling + other techniques to help humans suffering phobias, panic attacs, addictions. Cesar"Dog Whisper"Milan. Dogs. Edward James Olmos. Sergei Semenov (Russian peasant activist). Oswald Rufeisen (mere 18 yrs old when he alone saved 1000s of human beings from certain death during WWII). The Bielski bros. -ditto as Oswald. Marina Tsvetaeva -russian writer and one of many that didn't survive Stalins great purge in the'30s. Skyscrapes. Trains. Old route 66. Bugs Bunny. Sgt. Bilko. Fawlty Tower. City of Poonah. Bars. Flirtation. An ice cold Heineken. Good Stand Up-acts. People using Arnold, Joe Pesci or Al Pacino voices from film clips pranking with companys and new awakened. Reptiles. Lord Byron. Jack London. The incredible Shrinking Man. Lazy summer afternoons and Summertime Blues. Mary Shelley. Discussions. Cajun food. Night Owls-both birds and humans. '40s-'50s american cars and Jaguars.

19th century abominable creatures: Reinhard Heydrich, Stalin, Bogdan Kobulov and Mir-Jafar Bagirov -2 of Stalins henchmen. Hermann Fegelein and Odilo Globocnik - Hitlers ditto.

Other countries. Been to quite few other countries and love other cultures although I have a personal issue with the Talibans. Like a kid in a candy store when I'm abroad as I want to feel, taste and really got it under my skin.

No religion for me but if forced, I go for the asatro i.e., the Vikings 'religion', as no hell there. Valhalla is a haven to go after passing away i.e., having a feast on the roasted boar Särimer every night, and the day after, he's back again. Drinking Mjöd. Proud ancestors who were traders/warriors and went to North America in those long ships way ahead of Colombus, but boasted not about it. Made friends with the native inhabitants.

I'm a sucker for the 50's music -actually late 1930 boogies to early 1960. Guess I'm blessed with a healthy dose of nostalgia. I love when a band was called a 'combo' in days gone by. Some people here might know what I mean. Others can open a book and do some home work! ;O)

Don't like: them buggers that lurks in the void and have a nasty habit stealing messages sent from my PC.

At last: Eddie Cochran was the coolest cat ever walked this earth and Jussi Bjorling was the best tenor/singer that 'visited' it. Oddly, both left it anno 1960.
Country: Sweden
Interests and Hobbies: Music. History: 20th century. WWII. Russian revolution. Soviet/Stalin time. Litterature history. Sociology. Psychology. Model building. Used to work out hard with weightlifting -guess I have to crawl out of my laziness again. Fishing. Lousiana politics and Holy Grail searching but it aint find easily.
Movies and Shows: Among others: The Thin Red Line. On the Waterfront. Das Boot. American History X. Capote. Cuckoo's Nest. Groundhog Day. Alien. The Mask. Schindlers List. Clockwork Orange. Heat. Taxi Driver. Almost everything with: Dentzel Washington, Groucho Marx (and of course the other brothers). Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Salma Hayeck (WOW!), Jack Nicholson, Edward James Olmos, Seinfelt, Stan and Laurel, Ralph Fiennes and much more.
Music: Rockn'Roll, Rockabilly, Blues, Cajun, Zydeco, Doo-Woop, Chicano rock, R'nB, Up-tempo, Hillbilly, Boogie Woogie, Western swing, Country and Gospel even some darn POP from the 40's-early 60's. Early Elvis. Eddie Cochran. JLL. Ritchie Valens, Big Bopper, Buddy Holly, Ronnie Self. Patsy Cline. Pete Johnston. Black female rnrollers. Elmore James. SUN-music and loads of Rock-sent by almighty-n'Roll which give my shadowy soul strength. And opera by Jussi Björing, Mario del Monaco or Caruso. So good it make my heart cry.
Books: Right now: Stalin-The Court of the Red Tsar. A Peoples Tragedy-The Russian Revolution 1891-1924. Island of Fire-The Battle For Stalingrad. The Naked and the Dead by Norman Mailer. In the Lion's Den (of Oswald Rufeisen's life). The Short Stories by Ernest Hemingway. Factotum by Charles Bukowski (well everything by him), Freud: biograhpy. Johnny Got His Gun-great pacifistic novel. Buy/borrow or in poverty, steal it! Last Train To Memphis-Elvis upbringing and early sucesses and a socio/cultural odessey. Dylan Thomas-Wales great son. Stephen Hawkins. Books about Huey Long (Lousiana politician 1930's). James Ellroys crime stories. On the Road. The Long Ships-novel about the viking Röde Orm=Red Orm, and written with an unbeatable dry/understatement humour. Not on top list: New Age, how-to-loose-weight-books. Tired of belive in your self books -true belivers must be those makin a bundle of cash of it. Faust -a work of art, but it don't work for me. Nietzsches books-can't come in or out of them. Don't understand american football.
