Gamma Like Very Ultra are an avant-rock band from Tuscon, Arizona. The group formed in 2006 as a found sound / melodic noise collaboration between Joseph De La Rosa & Josifa De La Rosa (formerly Christine Heinisch until they realized they had the same papa) to combine found sound and electronic noise effects with live instrumentation. In addition to finding sounds, they found another of papa's bastard childern, composer Joella De La Rosa of Apartment. She plays the guitar. With their full line-up, the band is moving into new territory

The band are presently recording a full length avant-rock album, via their hands-on FaceTrain label, tentatively titled "Adventure Land: An Assortment of Fresh Fruits and Vegetables".
