@MrJonathan107 Just so you know, they also have a few EPs they released before they were signed to Metal Blade. They are at least as good as Before The Night Takes Us, if not better. Pestilence and Rapture, Storms Weathered, and I believe the last one is called This War.

Gotta give this dude his props. Most of the time for me its metal, and metal only. but this dude has a way with words, all of his lyricism has meaning and its all pretty damned amazing. Much respect.

@taxi911 I actually haven't seen that many bands doing crabcore... And when they do, its because it fits nicely with the genre of music they are playing. Notice how its never some death metal band doing crabcore, only techno infused posthardcore for the most part.

@Sickyaoiaddiction if you scream right, there is no chance of you fucking up your voice at all. believe me ive been screaming for a while and its all about technique. just look up a tutorial if you actually want to try screaming.

@spacefacefreak2 screaming for a girl is the same as screaming for a guy. look up a tutorial here on youtube. there are quite a few good ones, thats how i learned to scream and now i can do whitechapel-esque screams. it takes alot of practice.

@FanzyTV2 that would be stupid, considering he basically founded the band and does alot of the writing... so yeah, i can understand you probably dislike harsh vocals, but saying that you should get rid of the person who created the music to begin with is just stupid.

@yottabytewizard hardly anyone would speak this language. its an ancient dead language that predates most modern languages. and yeah its like little red riding hood, but the less sugarcoated version.

@Anonymous92304 thats not a fair statement, because inflames has had two distinct sounds over their career. they had the traditional melodeath when they started, and then that shitty prog sound of their last few albums. and the melodeath screams were actually really good.

technical melodeath is like allegaeon.

According to the metal archives these guys are just technical death metal. Albeit very melodic in my opinion, still techdeath.

@snitzel16 nah, he still screams at the live shows. if you look up unholy confessions, or secondheart beat When they played live in the lbc, he screams in those songs.

@Toastedfeind it varies, some have more screaming and less singing. their older stuff is mostly screaming, it just depends on the song. listen to alchemy sounded good at the time if you want a song with mostly screaming by them.
