Hey everybody, My name is Nikki:)
I'm a cowgirl straight to the bone. I've been riding for 4 years and have been mostly self taught except for a few lessons here and there. I am a barrel racer and I compete in mostly gymkhanas and High School Rodeos. I'm only breakawaying, queening, barrel racing, and gymkhana-ing for the 2012 season, but my heart will forever be with barrels. I don't have things handed to me. I have to work to get what I want even if that means buying a $1 untrained horse and training it into something worth at least 5,000 more! Or roping for 3 hours a day just to get that perfect shot. I'm always here if you have a training question (although I am NOT an expert AT ALL) or want somebody to talk to:) I own and run my own custom tack company (Magic's Custom Tack, check us out on facebook) and create beautiful one-of-a-kind tack at affordable prices! Without the business, there'd be no way I could rodeo.

My 2 Amazing Horses:

Boulder Dash (Boulder)-
16hh 23 year old chestnut Appendix Quarter Horse geldiing. Boulder was my first horse. He taught me everything I know about barrel racing. He tore 75% of his tendon up in February of 2010. 8 months later, despite what everybody had said, Boulder was back into barrel racing. My best friend Sam (ThisStarWillDo) will be barrel racing, pole bending, and possibly breakawaying off Boulder this season!

Cupids Majicman (Magic)-
14.3 hh 10 year old black and white Paint gelding.
I would literally DIE without my little Magic. This horse is absolutely my favorite (sssh don't tell the others)! I've basically trained Magic all myself and we've come SOOO far. I trust him the most out of all my horses. Magic can do just about anything. We've competed in jumping, western pleasure, gymkhanas, and even some reining. However, now he has chosen his path. He is a barrel horse now:) He hates to pole bend so we're not doing those at rodeos this season. I will be attempting (key word ATTEMPTING) to breakaway off him this season.

Since I really don't make "fun" videos anymore, be on the lookout for videos from my rodeos as those will mostly be what I'm posting.
