I love Zenyatta as much as I love Rachel Alexandra, but come on everyone! Look at each horse's body of work on the year objectively and you will not be able to deny that the filly accomplished more this season than the mare. And HOY should go to the horse who did the most in the year. I'm not saying RA is better than Zenyatta, they're both great and we could only know who's better if they raced, but don't punish RA for her owners.
Hi, welcome to gallantbloom's channel! My channel is dedicated to the great sport of horse racing. My favorite racehorse of all time is Man o' War, with Ruffian a close second. I also love Big Brown. My favorite horses this year are Rachel Alexandra (Been following this lovely girl since she was a two-year-old and am still astounded by how much she's improved), the great Zenyatta, and the game Chocolate Candy.
