The Story Of Olivier and Anne-Sophie
Olivier Turcotte arrived to earth on April 2003 followed by Anne-Sophie in December 2005.
Although their parents had separated, Olivier & Anne-Sophie lived delightful lives.
Anne-Sophie loved Caillou and Winnie the Pooh.
All that changed on February 20 2009
Isabelle Gaston kissed Olivier goodbye before he left to school. Then said her goodbyes to Anne-Sophie.
That last thing Anne-Sophie said to Mommy was
"Maman, do you know how much I love you?"
At 4:20pm a surveillance camera records the final time Olivier & Anne-Sophie will be seen alive.
Later that day Guy Turcotte would find his children in their beds.
A distressed, angry, or insane man, Guy began to stab his children.
Olivier begged his father to stop and cried out "Non Papa, Non Papa"
Anne-Sophie torn out her hair, helpless against her father.
On February 21 2009
The bodies of Olivier & Anne-Sophie are found.
Olivier suffered 27 stab wounds & Anne-Sophie a total of 19.
Guy Turcotte himself had injested a large amount of windshield washing fluid, trying to commit suicide.
"He looked at me and said he'd killed his children because he didn't want them to suffer from the separation," - Hospital Nurse
Isabelle Gaston arrived home from a skiing trip to a mother's worst nightmare.
"Casey (Anthony) is free, O.J. Simpson is free, Guy Turcotte will be free one day. It's terrible, but it's our law,"
100 protesters including Anne-Sophie & Olivier's mother held signs, some reading "Solidarity for Anne-Sophie and Olivier."
Guy Turcotte was found not criminally responsible.

On November 20, 2007 an anonymous call was made to police about a little girl. Police showed up at an apartment where Nicole G. and Stephan T. and their daughter and son resided.
Paramedics discovered an emaciated 5 year girl. She was rushed to the hospital.
Doctors tried to resuscitate her.
But the tiny girl named Lea-Sophie had already went to heaven.
An autopsy on Lea found that she had died of dehydration, starvation and ulcers.
The neglect of Lea had apparently started when her little brother was born in September 2007. Lea received less attention and was already a picky eater.
Just a few months later Lea had lost most of her hair and her cheek bones and ribs were prominent. She weighed just 15.4 pounds at the age of 5.
Lea had spent her last days curled up, in agony from her ulcers and hunger, unable to move.
Dogs and cats were also kept in the house. Lea's parents regularly fed their animals but allowed own daughter to starve.
Nicole G. and Stephan T. were arrested and charged with manslaughter. They were sentenced to 11 years and 9 months in prison.
It had been suggested that German social services had known of Lea Sophie but no action had been taken.
As a result of the mishandling of Lea Sophie, the mayor was removed from office.
The people of Germany were shocked by the heart breaking story of tiny Lea. Nicole G. and Stephan T. were deemed as "monster parents"
