Gaia & Luna are two sisters born respectively in 1998 and 2001 from Rovereto (Italy), that in the summer of 2007 achieved a big hit with their single Come Vasco Rossi, a song dedicated to the Italian rock star Vasco Rossi. They are the youngest Italian artist ever to be signed to an American record label (Robbins Entertainment - home also of Cascada, Afrojack, Darude and Annagrace), that released their single "Give It Up" in the USA in 2010. "Give It Up" is going to be released soon in the UK too. Gaia & Luna's fan base is huge in Italy, where they are widely popular among kids and teenagers, and is quickly expanding abroad, expecially in the USA.

Gaia is 13 years old. She attends the second year of Junior High School, plays the guitar, sings and likes to draw, to play volleyball and to dance. Her favorite artists are The Black Eyed Peas, Lada Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Ke$ha, Katy Perry and Justin Bieber.

Luna is 10 years old and she attends the fourth year of the elementary school. She plays the piano, sings and likes very much volleball, dancing and watching movies. She likes very much the music of Miley Cyrus, David Guetta, Lady Gaga, Queen, Justin Bieber and Demi Lovato.

Both the sisters speak Italian and English, love to watch movies in the original language and like very much London, New York and Miami, where they spent a whole month last summer.

The two girls, daughters of the DJ/producer Agostino Carollo, also known as Spankox and Ago (his "So True" track reached recently theTop 10 of the Billboard USA Dance Airplay Chart), debut in 2005, when the single Snappy il piccolo coccodrillo is released under the name Gaialuna by EMI Music.

Later on that year they release an album of childern's songs called Jumpy, singing in italian, French and English. The album includes the singles Jumpy The Little Kangaroo and In The Wintertime, a duet with the famous Mungo Jerry (of "In The Summertime" fame). The album and singles reach the Top 40 in France and Belgium and Gaia & Luna perform live on German TVs ARD and RTLII alongside artists such as the Kelly Family, Cascada, DJ Otzi and many others.

In June 2007 they release the single Come Vasco Rossi that reaches the top spot in the Italian single sales chart and remains for five weeks at the n.1 becoming the third most sold single of the year in Italy. Praised by Vasco Rossi himself for their talent, Gaia & Luna during the summer perform several shows and on August 15 they sing their hit song in Padova in front of more than 150.000 people. Gaia & Luna also become the official testimonials of Barbie clothes and shoes in Italy and they appear in the TV ads for the brand. The single achieves the gold record status for more than 15000 copies sold in in Italy.

In 2008 Gaia & Luna release their first album entitled Come Vasco Rossi e altre canzoni, that includes the singles L'estate and Il futuro del mondo.

In 2009 the sisters release a new single Give It Up, sung in English. It's a catchy pop-dance record, that immediately gains attention at the international level. The record is licensed by one of the best USA record companies, the New York based Robbins Entertainment (home also of artists such us Cascada, Afrojack, Darude and Annagrace) and is released in the USA in May 2010, entering the playlist of several radio stations and club DJs. With this release, Gaia & Luna, at the age of 12 and 9 years old, become the youngest Italian artists in history to be signed and released by a US record company. In 2010 Gaia & Luna also release a new single called Sanremo, sung in Italian.

In October 2010 Give It Up is licensed in the UK to Neoteric Records. The UK release of the single, featuring also new remixes, is scheduled for August 2011, and features a remix by the famous 7th Heaven. The record will be also released soon in Russia and CIS by Dance Paradise Records.

On January 19th, 2011, the new single Chika Boom Boom is released in Italy. The song immediately gets a lot of attention because of the new sound, that originally mixes elements of pop, dance, house and hip hop, and of the fun videoclip.

In April Gaia & Luna release a new song in Italian, called Ho scritto una canzone per te, featuring a nice music video shot in their home.

On June 7th, 2011, Gaia & Luna release their new single called Go Baby, a very catchy and modern tune.

On July 11, 2011 the new song in Italian entitled "Vaffa" is online on YouTube.
