Within just six years of its existence, the award-winning GAIA has established itself not only as a chamber music festival, but has also become a cultural and social phenomenon.

Internationally-renowned musicians meet and collaborate to create a series of chamber music concerts that have become a year-round sensation, with performances, international broadcasts of live concerts, masterclasses, and other educational events taking place in the months surrounding the festival week.

In 2011, the Festival was voted amongst the five most important in Switzerland by the press.
