Jhcmusic is right. By often playing that dotted eigth sixteenth note too long, it does detract from this already very nice version. I noticed this irritating thing too.

This is really not true animation. They just shot a certain comic`s every panel, added voices and moody music, and then moved the mouths to simulate speaking. The comic was Journey into Mystery.

Unfortunately, Marvel had no budget for this at the time (1966).

Second-last episode of the series. A retread of Neptune`s Nose Cone, an episode of the previous season. Not a bad one, though.

Len Birman voiced the molemen`s leader. An always familiar voice, for he was the voice of the iconic (and sometimes ironic, and sadly at times, laconic) Rocket Robin Hood.

The always-classy Torontonian Carl Banas as the voice of the Scorpion, and dependable Tom Harvey as scientist Stillwell. Harvey was also Electro, the Radiation Specialist and Sandman.

Excellent, excellent voice talent, all trained as radio talents.

Wpguser1 is right. For a cheater episode, the plot is quite interesting and doesn`t lack logic. The writing editing is solid.

This is more like an episode from the 1966 Batman series instead of serious Ralph Bakshi Spiderman.

The producers probably were down to their last 20 bucks to produce this ....err, "episode." There was probably 5-10 seconds of new animation for this 9 minute episode, all at the beginning.

This Karajan/Berlin Phil. recording comes from the late 1960`s. It is wonderfully played. However, his mid-1980`s recording of this waltz with the Berlin is even more sumptuous and better recorded.
