@Chroma2021 Marines shoot targets from 200, 300 and 500 yards..... with iron sights. I think most people who go to rifle ranges might have trouble shooting a target at 500 yards( a quarter of a mile) with a scope. Plus most local rifle ranges dont go past 300 yards.
