gYmp Productions is the brain child of three dedicated artists that came together in the tumultuous time of high school to form something that allowed them to keep their collective sanity.

The three people as mentioned above are John Douglas, Dakota Corwin, and Phillip Redman. These individuals came together to form a trinity of various artistes and attitudes that allowed them to be a collective creative force to be reckoned with.

Douglas, A.K.A. J Diesel, has his feet planted firmly in the world of graphic design. He attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and gained knowledge that allowed him to create with unbridled attention for the most detail oriented tasks.

Dakota, A.K.A. Goat, is currently enrolled in the Douglas Institute learning all that he can about practical special effects for cinema. A natural edge Goat possesses is his erratic, but perfectly honed, sense of humor. He bring to gYmp Productions what very few can; an honest detection of what is and isn't funny.

Redman, A.K.A. Philly Redsox, hails from a different type of artistry; he's a writer. This brings a fantastic balance to the other two of the founding fathers of gYmp. Redsox brings his natural gift for story telling and character building to the table to bring this team into full circle.

The truth is though, the origins of gYmp actually go back to a sixth grade gym class that Goat and Redsox where both a part of. They created something called the gYmp Olympics, a series of sports spectacles where the person that screwed up the event the most had a better chance of winning. Flash forward to high school when Goat and Redsox were introduced to J Diesel. The three hit it off and the trio started gYmp Productions to film a series of movies with their own brand of humor.

Once the founders got the idea, they told other friends about it. This lead to the addition of Jerrod Bolz, Joshua Bolz, Jason Burnworth, and Dana Hancher. With this the main group of gYmp Productions that persisted for years was introduced to the world.

Speed forward a couple of more years to year after graduation. Josh Bolz make a connection that would forever rock the world of gYmp and change the landscape of their projects forever. The group is introduced to Aeyron Moore and the production house of Stone Phoenix. They two group form a loose partnership and start filming together over the next few years. Through these films the two groups become almost indistinguishable from one another.

Here we are today, 2008 and sharing our films with the world. Our solo projects as well as all of our joint films with Stone Phoenix. Enjoy and Spread the gYmp!
