This is a fascinating piece of history. Things sure were different 70 or so years ago. Look for the WB wartime cartoon making fun of the Japanese. Cool history.

As much as I like Terry Adams and his attempt to keep "NRBQ" going with the new band, this is the real stuff. Any other lineup is a cover band.

It kinda sounds like a really good cover band doing NRBQ tunes.

@KptNNate Johnny Prytko is from Manchester, CT. They used to play a lot on Long Island, hence the album title. They played all over the northeast US back in the day and had quite a following. John patterned the band after another famous CT band, the Connecticut Twins, but he had his own vibe....
