About Forward Thinking Museum
Taking advantage of evolving web technologies, the FTM features a video thater and single-artist exhibitions that are drawn from JGSs collection of contemprary photographs, or from loans of established brick-and-mortar museums. Juried quarterly photography and video contests each presented in an artist and student category offer winners the opportunity to show their entry in a dedicated gallery. The yearly winner will have the opportunity to present their work in a one-person show at the FTM. In addition, an annual $15,000 Artist Award will be presented to a photographer, whose work exemplifies "Forward Thinking".
The Forward Thinking Museum store offers a select collection of prints, books, and DVDs. Net proceeds go directly to the scholarship fund for students pursuing photographic studies.
