Trying to get a video up to deal with your points, for now consider. John's baptism was right for it's time to prepare the way for Jesus. It is as relevant to us as the Law of Moses. I don't teach baptismal regeneration. Water doesn't wash away sin. The blood of Jesus does. But when? At the poin...

They were baptized with the Holy Spirit in Acts 2:1-4. But what baptism were they to administer? If it was Holy Spirit baptism then now does one baptize someone in the Holy Spirit? Also to read that into Acts 2:38 makes it read "repent and let each of you be baptized in the Holy Spirit for the re...

Looks like some of my posts didn't post so I'll try again. You mention a baptism that includes belief and faith. That's water baptism (Gal 3:26-27, Mark 16:16).

@weareabreedofdirt baptism was something the apostles were to do (Matt 26:19). In water (Acts 8:36, 10:47). Holy Spirit baptism happened only twice for two specific purposes (Acts 2:1-4, 10:44-48, 11:15-17). Faith is necessary for salvation (Heb 11:6) and was on display in Acts 2 when they asked ...

@GraceAboundedMore One? OK, the Philippian Jailer. Acts 16:25-34. But let's get to the heart of the matter.

@GraceAboundedMore 1. The kingdom was at hand. Jesus pronounced that some of the apostles would be alive to see the kingdom (Matt 16:28, Luke 9:27). There are posted several links that take up the kingdom in more detail. For now, suffice it to say that if the kingdom wasn't established between t...

@GraceAboundedMore No enduring here? Then Paul was lying in 2 Tim 2:3, 2:102 Tim 4:5? Also 1A. since the kingdom was established before Paul became an apostle, all these distinctions you are trying to draw are false. What you call different gospels are in fact different references to the same gos...

@GraceAboundedMore 2. Since the kingdom was established in Acts 2, everything that follows is the gospel of the kingdom. You are consequently misinterpreting the Bible to fit your doctrine. I hope you will make use of the links I posted as you demonstrate a love for God but are deceiving and bein...

@Ogram1000 Yet Jesus said His message was to be taken to all (Mark 16:15), not just the Jews. Jesus is the One hope for all (Matt 8:10-12, Rom 15:7-12, Gal 3:13-14). There is no distinction in Christ (Col 3:9-11, Gal 3:26-29). One message to all, one hope for all, one gospel for all. Paul preach...

@GraceAboundedMore Paul's and James' good news are the same. Notice Gal 3 and James 2 how they both reference Abraham. Paul emphasizes that Abraham's salvation was by faith and not earned by the law. James shows how Abraham's faith was not disobedient as he would have been if he had faith withou...

@GraceAboundedMore Jesus has a Kingdom already, the church (Col 1:12-18). He is reigning now (1 Cor 15:25) and when He comes, He will deliver up the Kingdom to God (1 Cor 15:24). Those who are still looking for the kingdom miss out on the kingdom. When He returns, it will be for judgment (Read L...

@GraceAboundedMore Actually the accounts of Paul in Lystra (Acts 14) and Athens (Acts 19) destroys this argument.

I believe you when you say you are not a part of the royal priesthood. All Christians, though, are (1 Peter 2:9 and this was written to Christians 1 Peter 4:16, not Jews in the Kingdom). Sadly, the heresy of Dispensationalism is blinding you and many others to salvation in Christ. Peter's gospel...

@Ogram1000 Nothing we do can ever pay for our sins. However, no one ever said that baptism paid for our sins or earned our salvation. The Lord promised salvation to those who believe and are baptized (Mark 16:16), the remission of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit to those who repent and are b...

@pgfracing Look at Acts 19:2-3 where believing and being baptized are used interchangeably. There is One Lord, faith, baptism, and one hope Eph 4:4-6. There is one Gospel for all Gal 1:6-9, Jude 3. The Lord placed water baptism at the entrance to salvation for all who believe (Mark 16:16, Acts 2:...

so that those who believed and repented can receive remission of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38, 8:37), To be added to the church (2:47), Believes the things of the Kingdom and the name of Jesus (8:12), to obey the command (10:47), has a heart that believes the word (16:30-33), o...

@LedKenji666 Um, with taxes. I advocate low taxes, not no taxes. But we do have to realize that in a good, fair, and just society we have no RIGHT to other people's money no matter what it funds. Both government and taxes are necessary to protect the country and maintain law and order. When the e...
