My name is Melinda --- not really. My name is actually Marissa and I just turned eighteen on July 11th. I spent my birthday not with a huge party like most girls but seeing some lame production of Funny Girl with Steven Brinberg cause it was Barbra related ; IT WAS AWFUL! But gave me something to laugh at. I lived in New York but then I moved to New Jersey just a few years ago, I would give anything to go back.

I just wanted to let you all in on something; Barbra Streisand, yeah, she's life. I live, sleep, think, breath Barbra Streisand. Miss Streisand is the meaning of perfection, everything she was, is, and ever will be is simply amazing. She goes beyond the limit and puts her heart and soul into everything she does. She has such an incredible gift wether she is on the screen or behind the scenes creating such a masterpiece or on the stage sending chills down the audience's spine as she sings. Don't insult me for liking Barbra. If you have a problem with my admiration for her then please and I mean this with all due respect, shove it. Because I don't think anyone, not one person would understand how much she means to me. Barbra completes me, she makes me so happy. Sometimes I even cry at the sight of her and it's unexplainable, she just gives me this rush of feeling I can't describe, because I love her so much. No one has touched my life the way she does each day. She a precious gift in my life. She is my gaurdian angel.
