Big John. May 1980 to Jan. 1982.IM-4 Division. I was onboard for the OPSAIL 80 trip to Boston and I still think that port was better than any of the Med ports we visited! I will make the drive if it becomes a museum in Rhode Island this year!

After reading thru some of the comments, I'll agree the vid is somewhat corny, but Steve's voice is from another world and he was at the top of his game then. Nice to see the other 4 of the Fab Five band members in the vid also. I saw Journey in concert in 78 and 86, also with Augeri in 2004 but ...

The voice lives on! Steve Perry said it best that they had to "play" and perform their best back in the day when all the equipment and technology was analog before the onset of the technology they have now during the late 90's.

OMG, Steve was on his game in this vid, he put everything he had into his performances! Quite simply the best male vocalist of all time! Music is not the same without him!!

One of my all time top 5 Journey songs! Steve belts this song out with one of the best if not the best voices of all time. I was at the Raised on radio tour concert at Hampton Roads Coliseum in Nov. 1986 and Randy Jackson was a great addition. Just simply one of the best bands ever!!
