Tip:
By clicking the Deck letters you can switch modes for the decks between (Track, Sample, External). This saves you the trouble of going into the setup. :)

The signal is probably programmed to have a soft take over feature that don't "pick up" your virtual fader untill it reaches the same value on the fader. The fader sends signals from 0-127...
