FROM THE VILLE with Martin and Steele was a world-renowned radio, tv, podcast, and internet phenomena that gained a large cult following. The comedy talk show sensation show aired weekly from May 2006 through June 2008 and it centered around the unique comedy stylings and charismatic personalities of it's two hosts.
FROM THE VILLE (often referred to as FTV) was nothing short of legendary. Martin and Steele, who many consider the Dirty White Boys of Comedy, Talk, and Entertainment gained popularity due their no-holds barred nonsense.
Martin and Steele were the Kings of Self-Depricating Humor. They were master conversationalists as they carried on in-depth animated discussions about pop culture, current events, obscure news, absurd stories, and of course their very own pathetic lives. These conversations were always entertaining, brutally honest,politically incorrect, shameless, and unapologetic. For instance, Martin openly discussed his enjoyment of using buttplugs while having intercourse with his wife, and Steele shamelessly discussed his moderate to severe erectile dysfunction and his addiction to 100 mg pills of Viagra.
Although FTV initially started as just another lowly podcast, Martin and Steele, quickly gained the attention of people in the comedy, adult entertainment, and radio industries. During FTV's two year run, the show was picked up by several global networks along the way such as Heat Party Radio in New York City, the infamous KSEX Radio and TV in Los Angeles, and The Adult News Channel (or TANC TV and Radio) in New York City. Other hosts at some of these networks during FTV's tenure were adult performers Courtney Cummz, Lisa Sparxxx, Sunny Lane, Sunset Thomas, Stormy Daniels, Nikki Benz, Jack Lawrence, and Gary Garver (who used to be part of the Howard Stern Show).
FTV often featured an eclectic array of guests which included the likes of retarded bar janitors, lesbian divocees, dirty drunken old men, the clinically obese, overeaters, struggling comics, wrestling managers, gays, and female-to-male trannies. Some of the Celebrity guests appearing on FTV were Male Porn-Legend RANDY WEST, Comic and Former Host of Comedy Central's The Man Show - DOUG STANHOPE, Porn Starlett - SUNNY LANE, Comic and Cast Member of HBO's Lucky Louie - Rick Shapiro, Porn Legend - Cara Lott, Pro-Wrestler of WWE Fame - GANGREL, Ponrn Actress - HEATHER PINK, Club Jenna's / Playboy's - DIC TRACY, Rude TV Host - POWDER, Marijuana Advocate and Never Get Busted DVD Creator - BARRY COOPER, The Indian Playboy - RICHARD MENNEN, and Head of the American Mustache Institute - Aaron Perlut.
Unfortunately for FTV fans Martin and Steele abruptly ended all show operations and production in June of 2008. Martin cited the reason for it at the time was because the show caused a conflict of interest with some of his other employment endeavors.
