In California, a girl under 18 years can't get a flu shot, a cavity filled, or an aspirin dispensed by the school nurse without a parent knowing

A doctor can perform a surgical or chemical abortion on a minor girl (under 18) without informing her parents.

This makes no sense!
Wasn't there just a news story about girls and tanning booths? They need written permission from parents to tan, but can get an abortion without anyone knowing! Asprin without permission is too dangerous, but not a surgical procedure??? |

My heart goes out to Sarah, her family and her unborn child. Me and my whole family will vote to have this law passed in November! God Bless the people who took the time and effort to push such an important issue to be passed into a law, you are the special humans who with this action will save many lives!
