I'm a self-taught musician who has learned to play primarily by listening to recordings and through self-discovery. My love of folk, blues, bluegrass, country, rock, ragtime, and jazz has been the catalyst for teaching myself to be a proficient flatpicker and fingerpicker. My youtube videos employ a close-up view of my performances to maintain anonymity. They are provided solely for entertainment. My clips are not intended as guitar lessons. I do not use or have music or tabs. I hope you enjoy my clips and your positive comments are certainly appreciated.

I'd like to send out a note of thanks to several fellow youtubers who have voluntarily put their time and effort into uploading a majority of my clips to their channels to fill the void after my fretkillr channel was removed due to copyright infringement claims. Most notably are bearcat5100 (aka Larry), biline1973, and the fretkillfanclub channel. Just discovered that you were back. We thought we lost you forever. I haven't checked for FretKillr on youtube in quite some time. Thanks to the generosity of bearcat5100, I made copies of all videos so I wouldn't lose them again! Great to have you home, and thanks!!
