Fresco Suave's Testimony:
I was born in El Paso Texas on 8-16-1983. I grew up in church and was saved since I was young, but I grew up fatherless since I was about 9 years old and that was a though time for me in my life when my mom and dad split up. My mom brought us to Sacramento California when I was 9 years old. My mom had to raise me, my 3 sisters and my brother by herself. When I got into high school I was a christian but it seemd like there was no one that I could relate to that was a christian. So I hung with some mexican homies but It was tough because they were not christians so I got away from God little by little but I still was a christian in my heart and I still went to church. Some of my homies in high school were in gangs and the hate that they had for their enemies began to grow in me too and there was time's when I almost got in trouble because my homies enemies became my enemies but God had His hand on me and he keeped me away form trouble. When I got out of high school I got with girls that were not christian and because of the lust of the flesh I got away from God even more. When I was 20 years old I got with a girl named Vanessa who is now my wife and at the time we got togther we were both christians but we were both away from God. We both did not think that it was going to work out between us but God had a plan for us and we got married on 8-11-2007. We now have a son and one on the way. Now God has brougt us back to him and we both are strong in Him. God has called me to reach out to gangsters through Chicano Christian Rap music. With the music I hope to bring a lot of gangsters to Jesus Christ. Amen (Taking Hope and Love to the Streets)
