"Extending the castle doctrine"
The testimony is overwhelmingly in favor of allowing citizens to protect themselves wherever they have a right to be without having to worry about being prosecuted. Representatives from the Attorney Generals's office and the police claim this isn't needed by attorney Penny Dean gives examples to refute them. Also Ann Rice grossly misrepresents current law.
There were some compelling testimonies from citizens who had had run ins with criminals. I had to leave these out as they were too emotional.

Carol Shea-Porter: a sneer of cold command
More info at: http://nhcitizen.org/csp/
On April 5, 2008, U.S. Representative Carol Shea-Porter had what was billed as a 'Town Meeting' in Epping, New Hampshire.
Epping's PEG channel covered it. Supposedly it was open to the public but I later learned that the only ones received the franked postcard invites were her supporters and myself, who got on the support list by mistake.
I gave my friend and Congressional candidate Peter Bearse notice of the meeting. We attended with the intent of asking hard questions and giving her a chance to respond.
What happened is very revealing. It shows that Shea-Porter is NOT a woman of the people although she may fancy herself the vanguard of the proletariat.
She did not expect any non-supporters to be there and did not tolerate any departure from script.
We did our best to get answers from her. Instead I got footage showing what sort of person she really is.
As I process this footage into a form suitable for YouTube I will add videos to this playlist.
