This channel is neither dedicated to male bashing nor a conduit of hate for any race. I support and love Black men and have respect for people of all races. However, this channel is dedicated to all Black women (wives, mothers, grandmothers, aunts, daughters, sisters, cousins, girlfriends, etc.). You were uniquely created with a divinely-given purpose. Your worth is priceless. You have ingenuity, talent, and love. You've proven your resilience throughout time. Here you have a voice. Here you have worth. Here you are acknowledged, appreciated, celebrated, and most of all...FREE TO SIMPLY BE.
About Me:

After being an avid Youtuber for the past few years, I noticed that Black women are bashed on every side from racist non-Black people to even Black men themselves (which is scary to think about). I decided to create this page to allow us as Black women an outlet and a forum where we are FREE to be ourselves without the opinions and influences of Black men or people of other races. Our struggle on this earth is uniquely our own. Let's now band together Black women and fight against this oppressive society. Think about it...everything we do or don't do is majorly criticized and often blown out of proportion. If we wear our natural hair, we're laughed at, mocked and degraded. If we choose to conform by straightening/coloring our hair or by wearing weaves and wigs, we're criticized for having "self-hate." When do we take a stand against this? I've worn wigs/weaves, changed my hair color at times, and I've worn my hair in its natural state, and have yet to experience this so-called "self-hate" that's the buzz all of a sudden. Where were the accusations of self-hate when Martin Lawrence repeatedly called Pam "Beady Bead" and praised his light-skinned, non "kitchen"-having girlfriend Gina for being what he considered a standard a beauty. Skin color issues are another manipulation of the Black woman by society (our men included) which left many light-skinned women feeling insecure or the object of jealousy and scorn while dark-skinned women felt insecure, the target of mocking, and helplessly unable to live up to a false standard of beauty. Personally, I am tired of it ALL. Regardless of my skin color, hair texture, hairstyle (weaves, natural, dyes), I am unashamedly Black. I am much more than a big butt (bootylicious) or full lips. I am much more than a booty call, a jump-off, or babymama. I was designed to be a mother and a wife (a helpmeet and not a docile flunky with no thoughts of my own). I am not a bad attitude-having, neckrolling stereotype. I am not a welfare queen. I am not one to be pitied or even necessarily celebrated, but I should be RESPECTED. I embody wisdom, intellect, talent, and a beautiful spirit given to me by my Creator. Sisters, I implore you. Please do not allow men or society at large to define who you are. Be the beautiful creation that you were designed to be. If you agree, please leave comments and subscribe. And unlike some immature individuals out there, I guarantee your comments will not be blocked if they're contrary to my own.

I watched a video of a young sister paying homage to Black men. While I agreed with what was said. I felt a sadness that went along with it. My sadness was a result of what I see and what I've seen. The Black man's condition was caused externally but they persist internally. He and only he, and not his woman, can change his condition. When his condition changes, so will that of Black women and Black children.

I was talking to a friend today and was sharing with her the importance of shedding the past, accepting the past for what it is and leaving toxic things (bad memories, stale relationships, old negative employment experiences, etc) in the past. None of us will ever have the opportunity to re-live and redo bad choices, mistakes, and negative experiences. So, the question begs, why spend your present and possibly your future harping on it??? Life keeps moving forward. There is no rewind button, only play. If you're still crying over that man or woman that got away or over a "great" relationship that didn't last, please understand that it served its purpose for that time period. Move on and create new memories and enjoy new experiences... The Lion King movie is a perfect example. When Rafiki, the monkey, pops Simba over the head with his cane, Simba winces in pain and says, "Ow! What was that for?" Rafiki simply responds, "It doesn't matter. It's in the past." I like Rafiki's thinking. :)

realmanallen72 is blocked because his channel is devoted to Black women bashing. No wonder the Black marriage rate is down... If he represents the way the majority of Black men think, we're doomed...lol!

@realmanallen73... I appreciate your sentiments; however, the types of women you describe do not represent the majority of Black woman just like the preponderance of young Black males hanging out on street corners all day smoking weed with their pants sagging do not represent the majority of Black men. Our race is no different than all the others in that there are negative representatives in every race. For example, there are plenty of white female prostitutes (more than there are Black), but when you think of white women that's not the first thing that pops in your mind. In addition, there are more white women collecting welfare, yet no one ever dreams of calling them "welfare queens." Some of what you say does exist; however, it's much more exaggerated. Peace and Blessings unto you, my brother!

(2) I don't mean no disrespect toward you. I don't think you are like that AT ALL! But it seems to be a bit pretentious to conveniently look the other way at BEHAVIORS like this going on in OUR communities. Now, don't get me wrong, MOST of my African American Female friends could EASILY walk down the aisle with a good man, or even have dinner with you at a cotillion. Heck, we might even catch an Alviin Ailey or Garth Fagan performance at Howard U blackburn center. However, EVEN THEY also often admit that they feel TOTALLY misrepresented by the way MANY of da sisters are actin uptown in PG County. Ya dig what I'm sayin' sister? All I ASK is that MORE sisters simply express their views AGAINST the behaviors that Maury Po-bitch is using to reflect you negatively on a daily basis. A HIGHER STANDARD IS NEEDED TO SHOW OUR WOMEN THAT THEY ARE BETTER THAN THE NONSENSE! And I think you could give that an EXCELLENT start. I already see that from your page! May the Creator bless you!
