The Curse of Monkey Island was a superb game, and a huge step-up from Monkey Island 1 & 2. I think it looks a whole lot better than the Tale of Monkey Island series on the PC and Wii. Guybrush and co. in 2D just looks right, and that was proven in the MI 1 & 2 2010 remakes.

5. Corridor 57 (PC) - Similar to Doom, but these random skulls would pop up and scare me to death.

4. F.E.A.R (PC) - Totally agree, that's a freaky game to play in the dark.

3. Silent Hill (PS1) - The original Silent Hill was scary, especially in the school.

I personally liked Saints Row The Third, but I totally agree that it wasn't as good as Saint's Row 2. I miss the bodyguard missions from the 2nd game...there's nothing better than throwing a crazed fan into a Jumbo Jet engine!

I personally would of added Uncharted 3 into that list. Love the firs...

Ha ha ha, Shonen Ashibe is just one weird game, hence why I chose it for you to play. This game is based on a well known Japanese Anime (in Japan anyway) about a boy and his seal.

I can remember Telegames being in the Leicester Haymarket Center when I was a kid. My Dad bought me Mortal Kombat 2 and the imported version of Super Street Fighter 2 for the SNES from there.

That was a sweet shop, full of imported goodness. Nothing like that anymore in the UK that I know off.

@ukretrogameaddict The good thing is that Deux Ex is £19.99 with any copy of GOW3 you buy, even the regular edition, so if your after both GOW3 and Deux Ex, then Game is the place to go I think.

I didn't got last week, but me and the missus stood our old crap a few weeks back and it pissed it down! The weather is definatly taking a turn for the worse.

The thing is that in the week, other than a bit of wind, it's bloody sunny. Once Sunday hits though...cold horrible rain! Typical.

This was also released on the Phillips CDi and it looks exactly the same and plays exactly the same. It was a big pile of shit. I hated those fookin bats!

That sucks, I would of loved to of seen a commentary on The Simpsons Arcade. Was it one particular person or a group of people? A few blocks on those individuals would be nice seeing as they spoilt all the fun for us law abiding subscribers who played by the books.

It a shame, like many other Arcade Gun Shooters, that this never got released to home consoles.
