About this user
Someone who works to keep the anti-wolves, who call themselves realists and us emotionally charged, proven completely wrong. Appartently, by "emotion" they meant fighting for a cause, or a right for others, as an ideal, which practicality modifies itself around. Which is what all people who are said to have done service for others on a grand scale have done. I really doubt that is a bad thing...
Wolf supporters, open-minded people, and people who don't know what to make of the whole "wolf thing" are welcome here.
But anti-wolf people are not welcome here.
Rednecks are not welcome here.
Self-righteous, "man-rules-the-world" people are not welcome here.
People who try to justify abuse to wolves are not welcome here.
Nor are racists or sexists.
And people who believe that a farm, or a single cow, or a field of cows, or tradition, or for some bizarre self-right, that it is perfectly okay to continue and continue destroying the wolve's homes and demonising them when they kill for food and protection, have no place anywhere around me.
I am not what some would call and environmentalist- I protect wolves, hate litter and like to recycle. That's as far as it goes. Rather, my goal is to change the perception of the wolf- malinged unfairly in society, from the young- tales like "Little Red Riding Hood"- to the old, where stories of wolf attacks are mentioned and exagerrated much more than ever existed, let alone having someone mention the thousands of wolves who have met humans and not attacked them. Because people can't seem to disassociate themselves from fiction, their attitudes toward wolves are set by innocent children's books, and obscure Bible passages, and the general attitude of society. If this were to change, there would be far less wolf hunters, far less wolf abuse, and most importantly far more of a favourable attitude towards wolves for what they really are- a species who has formed a small, intelligent society which actually works, and who have rules, and codes, and even mate for life, unlike humans, who most often break the supposed vow they give when they choose a mate.
So the anti-wolf people can shut up for a moment, and attempt to wrap their heads round that concept which they never seem to acknowledge.
And something that "cccundefinedccc" said pretty much sums it up:
Many hunters say man is more innocent than the wolf. But the wolf is the more innocent one. Unlike man, the wolf is pure, as are all animals but man. Wolves don't hate on one's color of their skin, the name of their country, their religion or how much money you have. Wolves don't kill out of greed but out of necessity. Man rapes, kills other people for money, flew the planes into the towers on 9/11, killed 6 million Jews in the holocaust, and kills more people and animals in an hour than the wolf has done in it's thousands of years of existence. And these anti-wolf people have the nerve to call a wolf evil!!?? They say the wolf is over populated and look at us. Let the one without sin cast the first stone.
And as I have said before- we ask not much. Leave. Them. Alone.
