Peter Paul and Mary made a good recording of Little Sparrow on one of their early albums.

Verses from the lyrics of the song are used in many other songs, particularly bluegrass songs.

I understand these songs as they are heard on the 'Unreleased Recordings' boxed set aren't dubbed but are the original Mono recordings made for the Mothers Best Flour Show.

Whoever did the dubbing made a great job of it.

@ scout4me1 ghodium has the right idea. As I recall, the complete Any Day Now track is about 13 minutes long. Two uploads; each 7 minutes long would allow for some careful splicing of the two halves with nothing missing in the middle. Just a thought !

The influence that the Everlys had on the musicians who were raised listening to them is simply incalculable.

For an 'oldie' ,'senior citizen', or whatever label you care to put on him, Jim's voice is truly remarkable, he still hits the high notes and the low notes effortlessly.

Along with Porter Wagoner he always was one of country music's finest singers.

Jim Reeves was doing this sort of stuff much more successfully at the time.

Thankfully Gordon turned away from the commercial Nashville country sound.to persue his real talent.

He became the finest writer, and singer of 'folk' inspired music of his era.
