THE UNKNOWN is the band I am in now.We play mostly original rock-type music,along with a few covers by groups such as Cream,Led Zep,Allman Bros,Hendrix,Santana,Grateful Dead,CSN&Y,Van Morrison,and music of the "Classic Rock" period.
The last band I played with for years was called Tribe.I wrote the original tunes,a few of which THE UNKNOWN is doing now,and you can hear some of them at www.garageband.com/artist/Tribe

THE UNKNOWN is the band I have been jamming with since June,2007.We got drawn together when Roger Reynolds,the drummer,got a big gig at the county fair in 6 weeks time-but he didnt have a band..lol..!!!We got together,none of us having played in a group in at least 3-4 years, and learned about 15 songs,mostly originals I had written,and they had never heard,playing around our work schedules about twice a week,and had those songs sounding really good in the 6 weeks time..It felt good,sounded good,and we were having a great time..so we thought we would keep at it.I am really enjoying the fact that these guys would really rather play the original tunes of mine,then do a bunch of over-played cover tunes.We are doing it because we really love it,and as a side benefit,folks,of all ages,are really seeming to dig it and enjoy themselves,oh yes,and we are making a few bucks on the side..lol.We play mostly original rock-type music,along with a few covers,that we really enjoy playing, by groups such as Cream,Led Zep,Allman Bros,Santana,Grateful Dead,CSN&Y,Van Morrison,and music of the "Classic Rock" period.
