My company, Blonde was the proud official badge sponsor for the EdTwestival on February 12th.

Or, put another way, Blonde got mugged by @jimwolffman and @mikecoulter into sponsoring the badges for the EdTwestival event.

We're still proud though and we thought we should do something clever and Twittery to celebrate our involvement.

Given that lots of people were planning to live tweet from the event anyway. We aimed to use Twitter to track, in real time, the socialising and networking that happened on the night.

As the evening progressed, people sent direct messages to a twitter account set up specifically for this purpose with details of who they were talking to. We retrieved the data through the twitter API and plotted these connections live on a projection screen at the event.
