'Franny Deschanel' is a name that is a combination of my favourite book and favourite actress-singer-songwriter. My favourite actress just happens to be named after my favourite book. She also plays the ukulele. I am not sure if the author of the book plays too (probably not.)

I'm trying to improve my singing and thought some good ol' public humiliation would give me some more motivation to do so. Either that or leave me in tears. I also realize my instrument playing abilities need improvement as well--one step at a time.
