Francesco Taranto

Francesco "Chaz" Taranto, born the 10th of January 1990, is a Jazz, Rock and Fusion orientated electric guitar player. He is known for his vast use of effects pedals, making soundscaping a big part of his sound.

In the past, he has performed with easy-listening/acoustic act Medousa, The Ladybug Blues Trio, Alternative Rock band Harakiri Suspect and Alternative Rock/Nu-Metal band Channel2.

He is currently active in his Funk Rock/Acid-Jazz band A La din, and works as a session musician and teacher. As of late 2011, he has also begone to pursue a career as a solo artist, and is writing new material as you read this.

Some notable influences include Eric Johnson, Steve Vai, David Gilmour, Guthrie Govan, Tom Morello and Micheal Einziger
