I think America's special relationship with the criminal governments of Britain is a blot on their historical record.
One of the biggest crimes of the 20th century which has remained as a taboo subject in the west is the JIMMY CARTER & the British involvement in the overthrow of the modernizer progressive Shah of Iran in 1979. They did it because the late Shah refused to renew the 25 year old oil contract with the western consortiums. In a press conference in 1973 in Tehran, the Shah of Iran disclosed that in 1979 and once the old oil contract of 1954, runs out Iran will not renew it and we all know what the Americans & the evil Brits did to the Shah & his nation in 1979.
His reason for not wanting to renew the oil contract with the west was the western oil companies not honouring their part of the agreement signed with Iran in 1954.

I think the western powers including the US Democrats alongside the evil Brits are the biggest terrorists. In their secret annual meetings such as "THE BILDERBERG GROUPS MEETINGS" they meet & decide where and when there should be a regime change. That is exactly what they did to Iran in 1979. The Shah who was a secular pro-western monarch & the pillar of stability in the area was demonised & terrorised and in no time the west replaced him with the murderous Ayatollahs while insisting in calling it the Islamic revolution!!!!!!!!!.
The Iranian regime is the protector of the EU, British & western interest in Iran & all these anti-USA anti- Israeli & anti-western rants in the past 32 years is to hide the very fact that it was the western governments who created the Islamic Republic in the first place.
For the past 33 years the west watched the crimes of the Mullahs and did nothing as if nothing wrong is taking place in that troubled country. 8 years of war with Iraq with over 2 million dead, more than 400 thousand execution since the Mullahs were imposed on Iran, assassination of exiles, arrest torture rape & execution of many thousands, 7 million becoming stateless refugees, generations wasted & nations wealth looted by the Mullahs & their greedy EU backers is the result of the Carter & British revolution of 1979 in Iran.
The overthrow of the Shah by USA & Britain & the rise of the Jihadist terrorist Mullahs in Iran in 1979 was the greatest mistake of the 20th century. The overthrow of the Shah of Iran might be a taboo subject in the west but it is not their best kept secret amongst the people of Iran. I & millions of Iranians have two common enemies, Islam & Britain. Out of the two I firmly believe that Britain is Iran's number 1 enemy. Iranians will not forget nor forgive.

Peace & Strength:)
America tried to maintain stability, but Carter was the most spineless President we had until O-bum came along.
Cater did America no favors either, out of a misplaced desire to be "equal" with all countries, including dismantling the coastal batteries defending Florida from invaders from Communist countries close to us.
About the only thing he did right was install solar panels on the White House. Sadly, Reagan took those down, but they were a structural weakness. On the bright side, Reagan corrected all mistakes Carter made that COULD be corrected, including rescuing the Embassy Hostages.
If we fight any mullah-run country the way we did Iraq or Afghanistan, we are going to lose, except for the few who die of laughing at Americans!
Then after that, Mossadegh was killed, America installed a nice, secular leader who, regardless what else he did or did not believe, he didn't believe in stealing others' private property.
The Iranians rebelled, killed him, and installed a Moslem leader.
Why did Iran get rid of the secular leader and install an Islamic one?
