The 91/30 was designed to be shot with the bayonet attach,so the barrel rose when you shot it without the bayonet attached.More then likely they are using 147 grain bullets.In case your wondering - I have 2 of these rifles, and one is a unissued snipe with Russian optics and with 147 Russian...

Two things- get a none computer carb-Quadratech and Red Line make progessive webers for it ,and get a distributor out of a 74,recurve it with the lite weights and set it up wit a GM hei ignition conversion.It will pull like no tomorrow.

My 1964 dodge dart with 225 slant six and open headers.
Me finally getting my dodge dart running. still not driving cause its stuck in park and no brakes. I have no exhaust on the car just open manifold.
