yeah I get what your saying. I love the raw sound too from the 1039 and kerplunk albums. You listed some very good songs. I think Green Days next album will be a quicker project and they are gonna go back to that raw sound. But I don't know I love the new album.

Thanks for the comment! Sorry about the budgie... :( They are such incredible little guys. We also have a green cheek and they are very different! I've had many bites, lol. Sometimes it may get worse with hormonal changes... our green cheek is really fond of my dad and would prefer to be attached to him 24/7. He use to be cuddly with me but then stopped when I left for school---and now I'm still trying to get back in his good graces (4 months now? lol) but they are fun little talkers as well. anyway, hope all is well :)
