Founded in a crazy music theory class in April of 2008, 46 is comprised of the soulful vocals and guitar playing of Steven Marcus, the smooth bass stylings of Matt Franke, and the precise drum skills of Jonathan Carter. The trio offers an original, yet commercial style of blues/alternative that is sure to turn heads of all ages. The group plays at many restaurants, clubs, and venues across the San Antonio and surrounding regions.

The Bands leader Steven Marcus was influenced at an early age by guitar greats Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn and John Mayer to name a few. Steven picked up his first guitar at age 15. In just three short years he has developed a style that blends these influences and ads his own personality. As the band singer songwriter and guitarist most first time listeners are astonished to hear of just how quickly he has developed his current skill level. In four short months since the bands inception Steven has written nine original songs (I wanna know, Let me Love You, Counting the Days, Mexico Blues, Better, Casino, Have a Little Faith, Soul Searching and Time will Tell). The band covers songs from Eric, Jimi, Stevie Ray, John Mayer, Train, Matchbox Tweenty and The Beatles to name a few.
