I really like the conditioner, it was great with detangling, however the shampoo was so-so. It wasn't bad but it didn't really make my hair feel any different (i.e soft, moisturized).

fuddlesspot: my hair is a 4a 4 b and i find it hard to get my curls to pop do you have any advice..
I think the key to defining your curls is how moisturized your hair is. I noticed when my hair is dry there's no curl definition but when it's freshly washed, conditioned and moisturized my curls pop. I use moisturizing conditioners, my favorite is Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle rose conditioner. I used to use gel to define my curls but now I hard even do wash and goes. If you don't want to use gel on your hair, try Cantu Leave in moisturizing repair cream. Part your hair in tiny sections and apply a small amount of the moisturizing cream onto your hair.
yumypopcorn: Where did you get the shea butter?
I actually got it from a little African shop thats around the corner from my house, they sell African products, African movies, Shea butter, black soap, everything African related, LOL. I believe there are places online that you can purchase shea butter from.
MovinCool87: Aside from Cantu what's a good daily moisturizer.
Shea butter & coconut oil, is what I use on my hair to keep it moisturized and soft.

To keep my hair moisturized I use shea butter and coconut oil. I use coconut oil once or twice a week, and shea butter three times a week. MY FAVORITE shampoo & conditioner is Jane Carter shampoo and conditioner. The first time this was used on my natural hair was when I went to the salon for a deep condition, she used those two Jane Carter products and two other Jane Carter products, and I LOVED how my hair felt after, it was sooo soft. I also love Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle rose moisturizing conditioner, when I was like 3 months natural my hair had a protein overload and the AO honeysuckle rose conditioner helped get my hair back in good shape.
