Here you will find the cross-section of Irish society who gathered in Dublin Castle on a weekend in March 2009 to make recommendations on the economic and social future of Europe. The event was organised by the National Forum On Europe as part of a pan-European consultation of citizens.

You can follow the five Irish delegates from that event who went to Brussels to debate the issues with citizens from all the other Member States and with the very top EU policy makers.

You'll also find the brilliant students who took part in the national finals of the 2009 Transition Year Public Speaking Competition organised by the National Forum On Europe and Irish MEPs.
