Dedicated to lifelong learning and anchored by our rich collections, the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History engages our diverse community through creative, vibrant programs and exhibits interpreting science and the stories of Texas and the Southwest.

The Museum is currently under construction and will open a new world-class facility and new Noble Planetarium on its existing site in fall 2009. During construction, some of the Museum's are on display in its temporary home next door at the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame. The Omni Theater, an IMAX dome, reopened in August 2008 after upgrades and renovation.
