Forti del Vento. Scelte di vite.
Dalle colline dellAlto Monferrato Ovadese in Piemonte. Da chi viticultore lo è da generazioni e non lo è diventato per caso. Da chi, della vigna, conosce la fatica del lavoro e la nobiltà dei suoi frutti. Da chi crede nelle proprie origini e vuole valorizzarne il meglio, nasce unidea che porta nel nome un soffio di poesia: Forti del Vento.
Chi siamo
Forti del Vento. La forza e la leggerezza. La materia e lo spirito. Tutto si genera per via di contrasto. Così il nostro nome, ispirato dai meravigliosi castelli dellAlto Monferrato Ovadese e dai venti che soffiano sulle nostre colline, ma soprattutto dalla saldezza delle nostre radici e dalla passione che ci guida nel nostro personalissimo ritorno al futuro. Siamo due amici, nati e cresciuti qui: Tomaso Armento e Marco Tacchino. Sono stati i nostri nonni a trasmetterci lamore per il lavoro e la disciplina della terra e uno spirito innovativo, che potete ritrovare in produzioni fuori dagli schemi, concepite in vigna prima e seguite in cantina poi. Nei nostri vini cè il nostro modo di essere e di pensare. E anche l'entusiasmo e la competenza di un amico come Riccardo Zola, un direttore commerciale giovane ma esperto, che ha sposato il nostro progetto. A noi non interessa coltivare la vite per fare il vino e venderlo. Il nostro obiettivo è ricondurre lassaggiatore a tutto quello che cè dietro il prodotto:il lavoro, il rispetto per il territorio, per le sue qualità tipiche e per il vitigno da cui proviene. A volte ci si perde in un bicchiere dacqua. Per noi è importante ritrovarsi in un bicchiere di vino.

From the Alto Monferrato Ovadese hills, in Piedmont; from winegrowers for generations, not by happenstance; from people who know firsthand the hardships of labor in the vineyard and the nobility of its fruit; from those faithful to their roots and determined to enhance the best of their values, an idea comes to life, carrying a breath of poetry in its name: Forti del Vento.
Who are we? Forti del Vento. Strength and lightness. Matter and spirit. Everything born out of contrast. Just like our name, inspired by the beautiful castles of Alto Monferrato Ovadese and by the winds blowing amidst our hills. But first and foremost by the strength of our roots and the passion guiding our return to the future. We, Tomaso Armento and Marco Tacchino, are two "wine savants", connected to this strip of Piedmont by either birth or affection. From our "old-timers" we have inherited the love for this land, our work ethics, our traditions, but also the spirit of innovation with which we care for our vines: Dolcetto, Barbera, Cortese, Chardonnay, Cabernet, Sauvignon, Nibiö, Albarossa. Today we present to you our products, originally conceived in the vineyards and subsequently pursued in the cellar; through them you will be able to discover how we live and think.
Our goal is to bring the wine taster back to what lies behind the product: the respect for the terroir, for its typical characteristics and for the vine from which it came. We are not interested in "making wine just to sell it". What is important is that you and us meet each other. Inside a glass of wine.
