Noterock is a four piece progressive Hip Hop/Rock/Roots Band. Compared to the raw energy of Sublime Noterock's sound is an eclectic mix of all genres of music, From classic rock, Dub to Hip Hop. Christian the bands main vocalist and co creator has been participating in the Hip Hop culture for 10 years now, Producing Engineering and Writing songs. This is truly an evolution in Christian's journey as an artist struggling with life's hardships and reality's. Robby Blunt Noterocks guitarist is co creator as well, with a history in jazz, funk, R&B, ska and reggae guitar rhythms, sound and melodies has been compared to Jimmiy Page, Hendrix, and Andy Summers Guitarist for the legendary band the police. Nick Coltrane is Noterock's Bass player and solid groove provider. Surprisingly Nick originally was a punk rock guitarist. This fact is hard to believe once exposed to his intense bounce. G.W. Pope is the newest edition the Noterock family. By way of Boston GW has many years as a gigging drummer in Pop and Rock cover bands. GW is finally able to lay his own groves to a music he believes in. Together this band is truly in love with music and writes and performs with a true artist conviction.
