Bringing practical pool instruction to the masses.
About Me:

A husband, father, teacher and person who loves to share things I like with anyone who is interested. Pool is not the only thing I do, just the one thing that has generated the most interest of anything I have posted. There are many experiences in life that we enjoy, like a good meal, a good movie, time spent with family and friends or maybe a well played game of pool. Pass on these experiences to children with cancer who might not otherwise enjoy the blessing of life by supporting St. Judes Children's Research Hospital.

Hi Marcus,

Your instructional clips have made a world of difference! It's incredible how small details can change the outcome of the game. I just wanted to thank you for your work. It is greatly appreciated.

your videos are very helpful and creative drills. I would recommend maybe a video on the diamond system because seems thats a big topic not covered.

In one your 1,2,3, Rail Drill video that you were using Pente/Go pieces to spot the cue and object balls.
Have you ever tried using notebook paper reinforcement labels?
They're perfect for drills because they:
*have a hole in the center that allows you to spot the cue ball and object ball(s) in exactly the same spot every time
*have a light adhesive backing so they stay in place without damaging your cloth
*are thin enough so they don't interfere with the way the balls roll
*are available at any store that carries school supplies
*are cheap (a pack of 200 costs about 1-2 bucks)

I gotta tell you that i have learned so much from your vid posts! Thank you! I do have a question. I saw Earl Strickland put bottom on the cue ball , hit it hard, and it still went forward...of course he ended up with perfect position. How is that possible?

Marcus,
Your video's help simplify a few drills my instructor told me to use. You are doing a very well indeed job.

You should try and get BCA or APA cert. in intrustuction.

Thanks again so much,

Francis C. Uy
