hey everyone! my name is ellie/ellen and i love to sing =O) so i pretty much just do this for fun because a few people have told me they like my voice, so i figured singing on youtube would be a good hobby, heheh =P

well i havent had any professional voice training or anything like that, so i do appreciate some constructive criticism (but nothing mean please)!

thanks so much to those of you who take the time to comment/rate/subscribe to my videos! i really appreciate your support!

my goal is that one day, i'll learn to be as good as some of you! and also to share some of my own original music =]

my dream was to be on disney channel... but since i'm too old, i'm settling for one day recording my very own cd =S and selling 4 copies... 1 for each member of my family haha XP

some FAQs about me answered:
i'm chinese [i speak mandarin]
i'm 22 years old [even though i don't act like it! haha]
i first picked up the guitar about 5 years ago, but i didnt start REALLY trying to learn to play until about 3 years ago.
i realize my piano skills are below average, but it (along with the guitar) were both self-taught.
i've been playing the violin for about 17ish years... but i kinda stopped practicing 4 years ago when i graduated high school.
YES i do take requests for singing covers, tutorials, and instrumentals! so don't be afraid to ask! =]
if you guys have any other questions about me, you might want to watch my FAQ videos! hehe ^^

some FAQs about my videos answered:
i use "imovie'11" to record and edit my videos (i think it's only available on the mac, though =/)
my microphone is called an "electro-voice blue cardinal condenser" mic... i think. =P
my guitar is a talman inter city ibanez (i love it!)
i also have a new guitar now, which is a baby taylor (with the taylor swift design!)
i've recently discovered how amazing garageband is... so i'll probably be using that in future videos, as well as to record my original songs! ^^

oh, and one more thing. as much as i would LOVE to respond to all of yall's comments on my videos, it's become a little confusing! =( so if you really want me to read/answer your questions/comments, please MESSAGE me and i'll respond as soon as i can! for a REALLY fast response, send me a tweet @for3v3rfaithful thanks!
