This is a great example of how Lou Reed really is still relevant. It's too bad that so many young folks only know him via the cringe worthy Metallica collaboration. The Velvet Underground had so many great songs, and he has some awesome duets with folks like Pete Townshend and many others.

Interesting to me how some of the band loathed this album (obviously the recording of it was a freakish nightmare) but the music is great in my opinion. I think it stands up with anything they did.
