@silverarrowslk It didnt help that Germany was being bombed day in and day out, yet they continued to develope new and advanced weapons. If the U.S.or any other country were in the same situation with only one ally (Japan) things would have been different you can bet.

@perpetual61 Amen to that; I was 9 and I remember the radio would go off the air around 10pm, even then you usually didnt hear too many cool songs like this, as the stations were all "Mainstream."

@flyinbryan1619 Yea but 1 pilot like Erich Hartmann shot down 352 planes; mostly russian (1-352 ratio) and even with the 300-1 tanks the only thing that saved Russia was the weather....
