Who ever said that the Southern Halo,SS,Northern Taste,Sir Tristram,Volksraad,etc would not have ALL been successful sires no matter what country they stood?I sure didn't.In fact, I have stated numerous times that all of the aboves sires would have been successful(or as you say "fared well") in any country, but would not have been no where near the dominance they had. It is success vs. dominance,and to me there is a very big difference.
